The remnants of my sin-stained life,
The Battles and Demons of my blessed life
The Vagueness of my remaining days
Unnerves and frightens me time and again
Weakens and horrifies me time and again
Realization began to finally dawn:
These are my trials and temptations
Agents that taught me about life and self
Thus enhances my consciousness of Him
More than I could ever imagine and desire
More than I could ever believe and hope.
The remnants of my sin- stained life
Moulded me to embark on an endeavour
Of love, humility and forgiveness
Of patience, perseverence and gratefulness
The battles and demons ingrained in me
Treasures that are His Grace and Mercy
The Vagueness led me to rely wholly on Him
My inadequacies reveal His wonderful love
Abounding in compassion and comfort
My every need fulfilled with His providence
To transform me into His Holy likeness.
